DMCA and takedown policy
Effective 6 October 2026
What we host
UNSEEN does not host any performer videos, streams or photos. Thumbnails and streams travel from the platform’s servers straight to your browser, and the player on room pages is the platform’s official player. We only keep text data, such as usernames, countries, languages, tags and image links, to show the listings and profile pages.
So if the material itself is on the platform (a stream, recording or photo), please also notify that platform directly, for example through Stripchat’s copyright or support channels. Once the platform removes it, the thumbnail and player on UNSEEN disappear too. What we handle are the listings, profile pages and links on unseen.guide.
How to send a notice
Email dmca@unseen.guide with “DMCA notice” in the subject. Under 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3), the notice must include:
- a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or of a person authorized to act on their behalf;
- identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed, or a list if several works are covered;
- identification of the material on unseen.guide that is claimed to be infringing and should be removed, with enough detail for us to find it — ideally the full URL, such as https://unseen.guide/model/stripchat/username/;
- your contact information: name, address, telephone number and email address;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law;
- a statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
If a notice is incomplete we may ask you for the missing details before acting on it.
What we remove, and when
After a valid notice we aim, within 2 business days, to:
- remove the performer’s profile pages on UNSEEN in every language edition; the URL then shows only a neutral “profile no longer available” page without the name;
- take them out of the live listings, suggestions, counts and the sitemap;
- delete the related data we keep at the next routine maintenance run.
We will reply by email once this is done.
Counter-notices
If you believe material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you can send a counter-notice to dmca@unseen.guide. Under 17 U.S.C. §512(g)(3), it must include:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- identification of the material that was removed and where it appeared before removal (the URL);
- a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification;
- your name, address and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the U.S. federal district court for the judicial district of your address (or, if you are outside the United States, any judicial district in which UNSEEN may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice or their agent.
We forward counter-notices to the original sender. Unless they tell us within 10–14 business days that they have filed a court action, we may restore the material. Profiles removed under the platform’s removal list or at a performer’s request are not restored by a counter-notice.
Performer privacy removals
If you are a performer and do not want a profile page on UNSEEN, you can ask us to remove it even without a copyright claim. Email dmca@unseen.guide with your platform username and the UNSEEN profile URL, and show that you control the platform account, for example by:
- sending a message from your platform account, through the platform’s messaging, to the account named in our reply;
- adding a verification code we email you to your platform profile for a short time; or
- another verification method we agree with you.
Once verified, we remove the profile as described above, and the removal is permanent. We use the details you send only to handle the request; see the privacy notice.
The platform’s removal list
Besides the notices we receive, we apply the platform’s model removal list automatically: when the platform reports that a performer deleted their account, was banned, stopped sharing content or has been inactive for a long time, their profile page, listing and sitemap entry are removed and the related data is deleted.
False notices
Under 17 U.S.C. §512(f), anyone who knowingly and materially misrepresents in a notice or counter-notice that material is infringing, or was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys’ fees. If you are not sure whether material infringes, please consult a lawyer first.
