Become a model
Thinking of performing on a live-cam platform? This page explains how sign-up works on three platforms, what verification they require and what you are responsible for. Please read all of it before you sign up, especially "Your responsibilities".
Read your responsibilities before you sign up
Sign up on the platform
All the sign-up links above are affiliate links. If you sign up through an affiliate link and later earn on the platform, UNSEEN may receive a referral commission from the platform. This does not reduce your earnings. See the affiliate disclosure.
Who can join
- Adults only. You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, whichever is higher.
- The platform verifies you. Before you can broadcast, the platform asks for a valid government-issued photo ID and a matching selfie or video.
- Everyone on camera is verified. Anyone who appears on camera must be verified on the same account and accept the platform's agreement.
- The platform does the checks, not us. UNSEEN never verifies anyone's age or identity, and never collects ID documents.
What each platform offers
The details below come from each platform's own public pages, checked on 7 October 2026 (BongaCams on 8 October 2026). Terms change, so check the platform's current version before you sign up.
Stripchat
- After sign-up you upload ID, pass verification and accept the Model Agreement on the Identification page before you can broadcast.
- A geo-ban tool lets you choose countries and regions that cannot see you.
- Earnings are counted in tokens and paid weekly, with several payout methods, each with its own minimum.
- Models are not Stripchat employees and must declare and file their own taxes.
Chaturbate
- After sign-up you read and accept the Independent Broadcaster Agreement, then upload an unexpired government ID and a selfie.
- You can block viewers from chosen countries, US states, Canadian provinces and UK regions.
- Pay periods run twice a month, with a US$50 minimum for most payout methods.
- Content rules are in the Code of Conduct. Read it in full before signing up.
BongaCams
- After choosing an account type you either complete the standard steps (contact details, ID documents, profile, photo, payout details and the BongaCams agreement) or use Fast Track automatic ID verification; the site then activates the account.
- A Geo Block setting hides your streams and profile from the countries, states, regions or cities you choose.
- Payouts are weekly: each Monday-to-Sunday period is paid on the following Friday, with a US$50 minimum for models.
- Models are not BongaCams employees and are responsible for filing and paying their own taxes.
Earnings depend on many factors and are never guaranteed. UNSEEN makes no promise about what you will earn and does not present performing as "easy money".
Your responsibilities (please read)
Before you sign up, make sure you understand the following. By signing up, you take on these responsibilities yourself.
- Only broadcast what is legal where you are. You may only broadcast content that is legal where you live and where you broadcast from. You must also follow each platform's terms and prohibited-content rules. All three platforms require performers to comply with applicable law.
- If it is not legal where you are, do not sign up. Some countries and regions ban or restrict adult performance entirely, and some make producing or distributing adult content a criminal offence. If your location does not allow it, do not sign up and do not try to get around any block. UNSEEN cannot tell you where it is legal; if you are unsure, ask a local lawyer.
- Think about where your viewers are. Your content should also be lawful where your viewers are. All three platforms offer region-blocking tools for exactly this, and using them, and choosing what to block, is your responsibility. Chaturbate also notes that blocking is not complete, because people use VPNs or travel. (This paragraph is UNSEEN's own cautious guidance, not a quoted platform rule.)
- Tax, licensing and registration are yours. Performers are not employees of the platforms. Tax returns, business registration and any licence or registration your location requires are your own responsibility.
- Everyone on camera must be a consenting, verified adult. Every person who appears on camera must be a verified adult taking part willingly. Unregistered third parties, including bystanders in public places, must not appear.
Some things are banned everywhere
Among other things, the platforms prohibit the following. Where a rule comes from one platform's pages only, that platform is named. Breaking these rules can end your account at once, and serious cases are reported to law enforcement:
- any content involving minors, including pretending to be underage;
- participation that is not freely given, or that happens under coercion, intoxication, economic pressure or pressure from others;
- human trafficking, and role-play of trafficking or abuse;
- prostitution or arranging meetings;
- real violence, self-harm, dangerous acts and sexual content involving animals (Stripchat's Community Guidelines);
- drug use on camera, even where the substance is legal where you are;
- broadcasting a pre-recorded video or still image instead of a live stream (BongaCams);
- asking viewers to pay outside the platform (Stripchat), or using the platform to steer viewers to other live-streaming sites (Chaturbate).
This is a summary, not a complete list. The platforms' terms, community guidelines and Code of Conduct are the full rules.
What UNSEEN is and isn't
- UNSEEN is an independent live-cam directory and affiliate site. It is not an agency, studio or employer, and it is not Stripchat, Chaturbate or BongaCams.
- If you sign up through our links, we may receive a referral commission from the platform.
- We do not handle performer accounts, payments, content or disputes. The platform handles all of these under its own terms.
- This page is not legal, tax or immigration advice.
- Sign-up happens on the platform's own site, under its own terms.
- We may remove this page or its links at any time without notice.
- UNSEEN is not operated by Stripchat, Chaturbate or BongaCams and does not represent them.
Seen abuse?
If you see content involving minors, non-consent or trafficking, report it at once with the platform's own reporting tool. In an emergency, contact local police. For content on the UNSEEN site itself, see DMCA and removal requests.
FAQ
Will UNSEEN sign me up or find me work?
No. We are not an agency or studio. We do not create accounts for anyone or arrange work. You sign up yourself on the platform's site.
Do I earn less if I sign up through your link?
No. The referral commission UNSEEN may receive is paid by the platform and is not taken from your earnings.
I'm not sure it's legal where I live. What should I do?
Ask a local lawyer first, and do not sign up until you are sure. UNSEEN cannot give legal advice.
Can I stop people in certain places from seeing me?
Yes. All three platforms have region blocking in the account settings. Chaturbate notes that blocking is not complete.
Can I stream with a friend or partner?
Only if every person on camera is age-verified on the same account and has accepted the platform's agreement. Unverified people must not appear on camera.
Will my room show up on UNSEEN automatically?
UNSEEN lists rooms from the platforms' public data and respects the region blocks you set on the platform. If you don't want to appear on UNSEEN, see removal requests.
