Before comparing features, decide what information you are prepared to share.
Separate the account
Use a unique email address and a password that is not shared with another service. Enable the platform’s strongest available login protection.
Review the public profile
Check which profile fields, purchases, follows, comments, or activity indicators are visible to other users. Do not assume a private show makes the surrounding account private.
Understand payments
Read the token, refund, recurring-payment, and account-closure rules before purchasing. Keep your own transaction records and set a spending limit.
Treat recording as permanent
Do not record or redistribute another person’s stream without authorization. A platform interface can discourage copying, but no interface can guarantee that another viewer will not capture a screen.
Privacy is not a single toggle. It is the result of several small choices made before the first click.
